Futsal is one of the fastest growing indoor sports in the world. Played in over 100 countries, it is a five-a-side football game that is officially approved by FIFA and Football Federation Australia.

The name "Futsal" comes from a combination of the Spanish/Portuguese words for football Futbol and the French word for indoor Salon.Dawn Gilligan introduced Futsal to Australia in 1972 and the game has grown in popularity ever  since.

Futsal is played on a court similar in size to a standard basketball court. Because of the smaller sized court the game is fast-paced and is a great way to develop ball skills, quick reflexes and fast thinking.
